Duties:
• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Workshop Local Signal Box to ensure the safety and smooth operations of
trains, as listed below:
• Makes routes for train circulation using the traffic control system
• Gives information and/or instructions to the train drivers inside the depot
• Gives train operation information to the staff
• Manages the train circulation into the depot area
• Supports CCP traffic controller, CCP supervisor during failures and incidents (Manage the swapping of the trains from
the depots to mainline and vice versa).
• Prepares with Rolling Stock Division the program of maintenance of trains.
• Prepares the plan of stabling and un-stabling of trains.
• Supervises the preventative and corrective actions in the depot as all the planned work permits is signed in the logbook in
the control room before starting and after ending.
• Controlling the traction powering of the depot tracks as there are some Maintenance works on the tracks after operational
time (cleaning, engineering tracks , signaling) needs to be safely done without any hazards.

 Participates in overhauling 41 EMD locos project with progress rail.
 Follows up the spare parts quantities, and order for the required ones to make sure the progress in the
maintenance plan is working with no obstacles.
