An unhealthy reliance on interactive social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. is
known as social media addiction. It entails an obsession with online activities and compulsive use
of social media. Psychological dependence and withdrawal symptoms brought on by social media
use are its main warning indicators.
