 Assalam alaykum wa rahmat Allah wa

baraktuh, how are you dear cuties? Hope you
are all doing well, alhamdulilah Rabb Al
‘Alameen.
 Do you know which days these happen to be?
They are the ten days of Dhul Hijjah which are
the most beloved days to Allah. And now one
of the pillars of Islam, the hajj is performed.
 In these days we say the takbeerat, which are:

TAKBEERAT

‫للاهأكبره‬
‫للاهأكبر ه‬
‫للاهأكبر ه‬
‫ه‬
‫للا‬
‫هلهإلهها هله ه‬
‫للاهأكبره‬
‫للاهأكبر ه‬
‫ه‬
 TEN DAYS OF DHUL HIJJAH

‫وهللهالحمده‬
Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar, Allahu akbar
Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah
Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar
wa Lillaah il-hamd
Allah is Most Great, Allah is Most Great, Allah is
Most Great
There is no god but Allah
Allah is Most Great, Allah is Most Great
and to Allah is all praise

 So we will not magnify ourselves, or what we

think or what we want or any problem. We do
not want anything to bother us. So we say,
“Allahu Akbar” – Allah is the Greatest and to
 TEN DAYS OF DHUL HIJJAH

Him is all praise. We praise Him for all the

blessings He gave us.
 Today is when the pilgrims start the hajj. It is
called the Day of Tarwiyah. We may not be
going to hajj, but we make dua for those going
to hajj asking Allah to accept it from them. And
when we make dua for others, we get the
same reward as well. Even if we did not
perform hajj, we ask Allah to take us and write
the reward for us.
 And tomorrow is Friday which is the 9th of Dhul
Hijjah. It is a great day when all the pilgrims will
go to the Mountain of ‘Arafat. They will sit there,
make dua to Allah and ask Him for all good.
 We have to greatly believe in Allah and ask
Him to accept from us. And those who are not
going to hajj also make dua to Allah. And

something distinct on this day is that after the

Dhuhr Prayer, Allah will descend to the sky, but
we do not know how. Allah is above the seven
heavens
 Allah loves us so much that He boasts about us
and talks about us to the angels. He says, look
at the people and how they come for hajj.
They make made dua to Him and they all ask
Him.
 Allah will forgive all their sins and they will return
as newborns.
 Imagine this great opportunity to have all sins
forgiven. We may not have gone to hajj, but
we ask Allah to forgive us all.
 And the shaitan will be so upset that day
because the sins of the people are forgiven.
 TEN DAYS OF DHUL HIJJAH

 Something really important for us to do and is

easy to do is to make dua. This is the best dua
the Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬said and all the other prophets
on the Day of Arafah.

BEST DUA ON THE DAY OF ARAFAH

‫للاهه‬ ّ ََ َ
‫هله ِإل ههه ِإ هله ه‬
‫يكه َل هههه‬
َ‫وح َد هههه َ هله َشر ه‬ ْ ‫ه‬
ِ
‫ه َل هههه ْاْله ْل هه‬
‫كه َو َل هههه ْال َح ْم هدهه‬
َ ْ َ ‫َ ه َ ََ ه‬
‫ير‬
‫لهش يءههق ِد ه‬ ‫هوه هوهعلىهك ِ ه‬
Laa ilaaha ill-allaahu
waḥdahu laa shareeka lah
lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu,
wa huwa ‛alaa kulli shay’in qadeer
None has the right to be worshipped except
Allah
Alone without a partner
To Him belongs all kingdom and praise
And He is able to do all things
 TEN DAYS OF DHUL HIJJAH

 This is the best dua to say because Allah is the

One we need to worship. He is the King and all
praises are due to Him. There is nothing difficult
on Him and He is able to do all things.
 Also there is fasting on the Day of ‘Arafah if one
is able, and whoever fasts will have their sins for
the past year forgiven and they will have their
future sins for the next year forgiven as well.
 So imagine fasting for that one day equals to
two years of forgiveness of sins. So we fast this
day because the Prophet (‫ )ﷺ‬told us.
 And for the young who cannot fast, we ask
Allah to accept the fast of those who are
fasting and when we are older, we can fast.
 This is the journey of hajj and the Day of Arafah.
