PURPOSE
The aim of this report is to present my intended course of action concerning the building with address
College Road, Galway, H91 X4K8. As the owner of respective building I request the change of its
use from residential to commercial one.
PRESENT SITUATION
As the new owner of this building, I have documented legal property rights. The building needs
capital repairs and no one lives in it already for 3 years.
PLANS FOR THE PROPERTY
As a new owner of this building I would like to invest in it and make capital repairs and
modifications in order to transform it in a modern supermarket. The construction works won’t hold
much since everything is prepared already. Also we will modify the basement of the building and the
surrounding area to have more parking lots. All construction trash will be evacuated with lowest
possible pollution of environment.

BENEFITS FOR THE CITY

The new supermarket will offer possibility to shop locally to all population from the area. They wont
need any more to spend money and time to travel to city centre and back. The supermarket will
provide a new source of finance for the local budget since it will pay taxes. One more benefit is
related to parking lots. People will have the possibility to park personal vehicles in protected areas
and the streets near won’t be so crowded and the traffic will be more fluent.

CONCLUSION
To sum up, I hope that the plans outlined in this report are clear and meet with your approval. The
construction company can provide needed documents and start working immediately after getting
approval.
