V.Observation/Teaching The learners actively engaged during the reading process. They respond to
Points questions being asked without difficulty. Moreover, they showed confidence
during the process by demonstrating fluent oral reading and stronger reading
comprehension.
VI.
Remarks/Recommendations:

V.Reflection
Guided reading helps students develop greater control over the reading process
through the development of reading strategies that assist in decoding and
constructing meaning. I realized that teachers have the greatest role during the
process, I need to guide, or 'scaffolds', the learners as they read, talk and think
their way through a text. Moreover, the success of Guided Reading is not found in
following a scripted lesson, but on following the learner. By this, we mean
closely observing the child’s reading behaviors, analyzing what we see and hear,
and providing the clearest way forward based on our professional understanding
of the reading process and the child’s strengths and needs.
