Brake release valve HQ1 – HD 8–12 Disengaging the parking brake:

1. Insert the safety strut.
2. Loosen the screw A and unscrew by hand until
A – Brake release mechanism there is a noticeable resistance (about 5 rotations).
3. Vent the spring loaded brakes by anti-clockwise
turning the steering wheel until considerable force is
required.
While towing the spring loaded brakes must be kept
relief valve – open by repeatedly ventilating with the steering
brake protection wheel because of leakages.

Engaging the parking brake:

1.Screw in the screw A up to the valve seat (max. 30
Nm).
2. Release the safety strut.
