“FUTURE NOSTALGIA IS THE NAME”

The real-struggle of pop artists is to keep their positions on the top of charts. However, Dua Lipa

is the major difference in the current times.

The British pop singer has two albums: the self-titled album Dua Lipa and her recent work, Future

Nostalgia. On the first one, we can find her first hits like Be the One or New Rules. In this album,

she places importance on how she understands the love and the passion, at the same time

providing a slight vision of feminism. One particular weakness of this CD is you can easily skip

some songs, but you better never skip Homesick, please.

Regarding Future Nostalgia album, Dua shows us the musical inspiration she had during her

teenager years- she describes her work as a vision of nostalgia pop- and she describes the

process of falling in love with someone and the different emotions that can be felt when we are

getting in love through her lyrics. The slight difference with the other one is that this is the

album, in capital letters. You will not stop listening once you press the play button, moreover

each song is worthwhile. They will have you dancing and screaming like there is not tomorrow.

There is no weakness in this album, sorry.

I would strongly advise you to go out and buy last Dua's album because it will not disappoint

you, especially if you are into pop from the 90's and 20's. And like she said "Future Nostalgia is

the name..."
