III.

Pinoy Robot Games

General Mechanics:

1. Open for Junior and Senior High School students.


2. Participants should register two official players of the team per event. One member is
in-charge for manipulating/controlling the robot car and the other member is to assist
the official player as the game requires .

Game Rules:

SHOOT THE EGGS

Robot per Team One

No. of Player One

Robot Control Remote Control

Goal: The robot car is remotely controlled to push and shoot


the hard boiled eggs into the designated boxes. Each
player will be given one (1) minute to play the game.

Note: Physical intervention directly or indirectly is not


allowed.

Materials needed:

1. Hard boiled chicken eggs. No limit of eggs.

2. 2 pcs. 20cm x 20cm x 20cm x 10cm carton box

3. Table size is 120cm x 120cm (no height requirement)

4. Countdown timer (https://www.online-stopwatch.com/countdown)

Robot Specifications:

1. Any type of wheeled robot is allowed. Any microcontroller is allowed.

2. NO height and weight restrictions.

3. Robot size must not exceed 20cm x 20cm (LxW) including the arm

4. The robot can be attached with the arm/claw to guide the egg.

5. No sticky substance or object can be placed to handle the egg.

6. Robots must be controlled by any form of wireless controller (via Bluetooth, IR,
radio frequency, etc.)

Playing Field:

The carton boxes may be fixed by a tape/chair or standee on the opposite sides of the
table.

Starting point

Game Proper:

Start

1. Place the robot at the starting area. Then place 4 eggs at the center of the
table.

2. Set the timer to 1 minute. Start the timer.

3. Start controlling the robot to shoot eggs in the boxes.

4. During this time, the player is not allowed to touch any object on the table.

5. If there are no eggs on the table, bring the robot to the starting area then the
partner player places another 4 pcs of eggs to begin the next round.

6. Repeat step 3.

Scoring

1. Two points will be given for every egg shoot on the box.

2. At the end of the game, if the number of eggs in ALL 2 boxes are equal, the
points are tripled.

End of the Game

1. When 1 minute has lapsed or the player decides to end the game.

2. When the robot falls from the table twice.

BLOW THE CUPS

Robot per Team One

Robot Control Remote Control

Goal: The robot car is remotely controlled to blow and shoot the
8oz styro cups into the designated boxes. Each player
will be given one (1) minute to play the game.

Note: Physical intervention directly or indirectly is not


allowed.

Materials needed:

1. 10 pcs 8oz styro cups

2. 2pcs. 20cm x 20cm x 20cm x 10cm carton box. Top and front of the box must
be open.

3. Table size is 120cm x 120cm (no height requirement)

4. Countdown timer (https://www.online-stopwatch.com/countdown)

Robot Specifications:

1. Any type of wheeled robot is allowed. Any microcontroller is allowed.

2. NO height and weight restrictions.

3. Robot size must not exceed 20cm x 20cm (LxW) including the motor fan.

4. The robot shall be attached with 1pc. motor fan. Fan blade diameter must not
exceed 10 cm.

5. Robot must be controlled by any form of wireless controller (via Bluetooth, IR,
radio frequency, etc.)

Playing Field:

1. The carton boxes may be fixed by a tape/chair or standee on the opposite sides
of the table.

2. There should be a black line dividing the table into two sections.

Game Proper:

Start

1. Place 4pcs. of cups on the line.

2. The player must place the robot at the starting area.

3. Set the timer to 1 minute. Start the timer.

4. Start controlling the robot to blow and shoot cups in the boxes.

5. The player must move 1 meter away from the table immediately.

6. If there are no cups on the table, bring the robot to the starting area then the
partner player places another 4 pcs of cups to begin the next round.

7. Repeat step 3.

1. Five points will be given for every cup blown and shoot into the box. A
maximum of ten cups will be counted.

2. At the end of the game, cups inside the boxes will be counted. Total score will
be doubled if both boxes have the same number of cups.

3. No point will be given if the robot touches and pushes the cup to the box.

End of the Game

1. When 1 minute has lapsed or the player decides to end the game.

2. When the robot falls from the table twice.

3. When the player touches the robot while 1 minute time is running.

4. When there are no more cups on the table.

LINE TRACING TRACK RACE

Robot per Team One

Robot Control Autonomous

Goal: The robot car shall autonomously trace a line and


complete the track. Each player will be given one (1)
minute to play the game.

Note: Physical intervention directly or indirectly is not


allowed.

Materials needed:

1. Line track (ex. tarpaulin, 3cm wide black electrical tape)

2. Countdown timer (https://www.online-stopwatch.com/countdown)

1. Any type of wheeled robot is allowed. Any microcontroller is allowed.

2. NO height and weight restrictions.

3. Robot size must not exceed 20cm x 20cm (LxW).

4. Maximum of 4 line tracing sensors is allowed to use.

5. Robot must be fully AUTONOMOUS.

Playing Field:

1. Any flat surface with line track for the race (black tape or sticker, tarpaulin).

Game Proper:

Start

1. Set the timer to 1 minute. Start the timer.

2. The player must turn on and place the robot car at the starting area.

3. The player must move 1 meter away from the area immediately.

Scoring

1. Ranking system will be applied based on the time the track traced or
completed.

2. In case the robot will go out of the line, the player will be given one chance to
get the car and place it again on the starting line with NO time interruption.

End of the Game

1. When 1 minute has lapsed or the player decides to end the game.

2. When the robot goes out of the line for the second time.

3. When the player touches the robot for the third time while 1 minute is running.

Game Rules:

BALLOON POPPER

Robot Control Remote Control

Goal: The robot car is remotely controlled to pop the balloon in


sequential manner. Each player will be given one (1)
minute to play the game.

Note: Physical intervention directly or indirectly is not


allowed.

Materials needed:

1. 7 inches inflated balloon. No limit on the number of inflated balloons.

2. Table size is 120cm x 120cm (no height requirement)

3. Countdown timer (https://www.online-stopwatch.com/countdown)

Robot Specifications:

1. Any type of wheeled robot is allowed. Any microcontroller is allowed.

2. NO height and weight restrictions.

3. Robot size must not exceed 20cm x 20cm (LxW) including the pin.

4. Robot must be controlled by any form of wireless controller (via Bluetooth, IR,
radio frequency, etc.)

The table is labeled with numbers 1, 2 ,3 and 4 to indicate the sequence of balloon to
be popped.

Game Proper:

Start

1. Place the robot at the starting area. Place 4 balloons at the edge of the table
where numbers are located.

2. Set the timer to 1 minute. Start the timer.

3. Start controlling the robot to pop the balloons in order.

4. During this time, the player is not allowed to touch any object on the table.

5. If a balloon is popped the partner player must replace the balloon while the
official player continue to pop other balloons .

Scoring

1. Two points will be given for every popped balloon.

End of the Game

1. When 1 minute has lapsed or the player decides to end the game.

2. When the robot falls from the table twice.
