Personal statement for Master of Science in Sustainability Management:

Hi my name is Santhosh Kumar.I completed my Undergraduate degree in Mechanical

Engineering at vi institute of technology.In start of June 2016 in my vi institute of technology
and completed my degree in the year of December 2019.In my college days I was a good student
of all days. I scored the greatest marks of all time.My bachelor degree is one of the greatest
achievements of my life in college. My institute is recognised by Anna University in Tamilnadu
India.

Anna University is the number one university in Tamil Nadu and a famous university in all over
India.My vi institute of technology is one of the leading institutes in tamilnadu and India.
I scored a very great CGPA of 8.5 in my Vi institute of technology. In all 8 semesters I scored
CGPA OF 8.5.I have no standing backlogs in my vi institute of technology. In 4 years of my vi
institute of technology is the most precious time of my life.Im a Rank holder in my vi institute
of technology and I scored A,A+ grade in all semesters.

In my second year I visited Industrial Visits at most famous companies like Dell Technologies,
Wipro Technologies,Ashok Leyland, Caterpillar and many more.In that industrial visit I gained
more experience of engineering and mechanical manufacturing of that working company.In my
third year industrial visit I go for my vi institute of technology partner Vi Microsystems Limited
in Chennai India is one of best electronic company . I gained more experience at my vi institute
of technology company.
In my third year last semester I worked with my mentor and colleagues to create my project
Railway track generator.so this project won first place in my vi institute of technology
competition.
In my last year 2019 December I created my final year project namely Aluminium zinc alloy
with 6068 casting. This project also won a great place in my vi institute of technology and Anna
University Chennai.

After completing my graduation in the year of December 2019 I got top placed in my university
campus placement. I am working for a big MNC company in my campus placement.My
company name is NCR CORPORATION my role is Mechanical Engineer. I worked there for
almost 3 years.I gained more experience in my company. I gained mechanical manufacturing, in
my company. My company work is to assemble ATM parts. My work is to assemble ATM parts
and dispatch them to customers.

After completing 3 years of NCR CORPORATION I quit my work and I decided to pursue study
abroad.I decided to apply for Columbia University .United States is one of the top destinations
to study abroad so I decided to apply to a top ranked university in the United States.so my search
and apply my first preference Columbia University.I searched Columbia University it's a top
ranking and R1 Research university in the USA.so i decided to apply for a Masters in
Mechanical Engineering at which is ranked in the top 10 Universities in the United States. So I
decided to apply to Columbia University.

As I'm a great student of my vi institute of technology and my CGPA impressed the admission
committee to give admission to your prestigious university.
