In this paper we will explore the significance of land use planning and how a
national framework plays a role, in guiding this process. I will also examine the aspects
of a framework, for planning land use at a level and delve into the difficulties and
possibilities associated with implementing such a framework.

In this paper I aim to enhance our comprehension of the significance of land use
planning. The role played by a framework, in guiding this process. Land use planning is
crucial, for ensuring effective utilization of land resources while also fostering
development and enhancing social well being. This paper aims to encourage
conversation and deliberation, on the creation and execution of a land use planning
framework at a national level.

Planning how land is used is an demanding task that requires finding a balance,
between the needs of various interested parties. It is crucial to guarantee the effective
management of land resources while fostering progress and enhancing social welfare.

Moreover, there are pre-existing laws that mainly focus on zoning. Executive
Order No. 648 that recognizes the human settlements, Sec. 5 and 7 of R.A. 7279
(Urban et al. Act of 1992), Sec. 4, R.A. 8435 (Agriculture and Fisheries Modernization
Act of 1998), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Clean Air Act (RA 8749), Solid
Waste Management Act (RA 9003), and Clean Water Act of 2004 ( RA 9275) are some
examples of laws that affects the zoning and planning of land.

A land use plan is a collection of analytical and decision-making documentation


and maps that show what uses, developments, and constructions are permitted where
(in terms of location and area), when, under what circumstances, how, and to what
extent. In order to implement social and economic development strategies, plans,
programs, and projects, the location and size of the property must be determined,
projected, and prioritized. It is founded on considering physical planning standards,
development goals, and objectives, as well as examining the current and possible
physical conditions of the property and development opportunities.

Based on the LUPID Session, Land Use Planning is developed out of the
contrary and connection between socioeconomic planning and physical planning.
Physical planning involves arranging an area's utilities, infrastructure, and land use.
Physical planning was first used to regulate and oversee urban growth. Our campuses
may also be one example, the same name as Musuan, Bukidnon's University Town,
where Central Mindanao University is located.

In conclusion, it is essential to know about land use planning. It is not just about
the economic structure but also affects the social and welfare status of individuals in a
society. With the knowledge gathered from the session about land use planning, other
people may be able to disseminate information that will also help them to nurture
through minimal actions in their society.
