Policy Critic Competition

Round I:

Participants are required to submit a critic of a policy on anyone of the topic mentioned below:

1. Karnataka Ban on Hijab

2. Loss and Damage Fund for climate reparations in COP27
3. Bond Policy for MBBS students by Haryana govt: Another Anti-Doctor policy
4. Population Control Bill by Indian govt.
5. Farm laws - dodged bullet or missed opportunity

Rules and Regulations:

1. There are 3 accepted categories you can submit your critic as:
● Word Doc: Max limit 600 words
● PPT:Max 2 slides(excluding intro slide: no annexure allowed)
● Videos: Upto 3 minutes time duration.
2. Max 2 submissions/participants are allowed.
3. Keep a good resolution in the submissions.
4. Contestants need to take a clear stand on the decision of bill implementation keeping
themselves in the shoes of the policy maker
5. Sexual, racist, religious or any kind of discriminatory /offensive content would be
disqualified.

Round II

1. The best entries would be selected for the next round

2. Contestant would be pitted against each other to prove their point their point and justify
their stand
3. Contestant will be judged based on their clarity of concept, logical & structured thinking
and ability to perform under pressure.
