SUBJECT : CONDUCT OF JOINT OCULAR INSPECTION OF GOLD RUSH SITE

LOCATED AT KIBONGKOG-K-12, SAN FERNANDO, BUKIDNON FOR THE APPLICATION OF
“MINAHAN NG BAYAN”.

PRELIMINARIES:

This pertains to the joint ocular inspection conducted by the composite team namely, BENRO,
MGB-10, PENRO, PGO-MONITORING, and MENRO-San Fernando, regarding the gold rush site
operation located at Kibongkog-K-12, San Fernando, Bukidnon in relation to their Minahanng Bayan
application.

Please be informed that the undersigned together with the above-cited offices conducted the
aforementioned activity dated May 17, 2018

ACTIONS/UNDERTAKINGS TAKEN:

 Coordinated with the Municipal Mayor of LGU-San Fernando;

 Conduct perimeter survey of the subject location;
FINDINGS AND OBSERVATIONS:

 The inspecting team through the order of the PMRB board members during the PMRB meeting
dated May 16, 2018, to conduct a joint ocular inspection in the said area. During the said
activity several tunnels were found out by the team.

 The team also observed several trees were cut within the perimeter of every tunnel in the area

 Several Shanti’s were found in the said area.

 During the meeting, it was also then discussed that the application for Minahanng Bayan was
already submitted to the National Office.

 It was then found out that some of the residents residing within the gold rush area were from
SitioKagatan and SitioKiranggol.

RECOMMENDATIONS/SUGGESTIONS:

The BENRO investigating team has come up with the following recommendations based on the
findings and Observation:
1. The team suggested that the operation must be temporarily stopped for the purpose of the
application for the Minahanng Bayan;
2. The team recommended that the people operating in the said area may transfer to
SitioKagatansince the said area was already declared as Minahanng Bayan.
