SUBJECT : CONDUCTING AN INVESTIGATION REGARDING THE ALLEGED


ONGOING ILLEGAL EXTRACTION IN SINABOAGAN, VALENCIA CITY.

PRELIMINARIES:

The Bukidnon Environment and Natural Resources Office(BENRO) has


responded to a complaint regarding an alleged ongoing illegal extraction that
occurred in Pulangi River, Sinaboagan, Valencia City last October 15, 2015, together
with BENRO Field personnel namely, Mr. Dennis G Dagooc, Mr.Joemarie P.
Licawan and Mr. Arsenio Briones, in which, it was reported that the Suyao Dump
trucks was alleged in extracting sand and gravel minerals without permit to extract,
the undersign, Mr. Dagooc together with Mr. Licawan and Mr. Briones went to the
house of Kagawad Butal to ask for a query regarding the reported incident of an
ongoing illegal extraction of sand and gravel minerals.

FINDINGS AND OBSERVATIONS:

The BENRO investigating team interviewed Kag. Butal in which, is also a


quarry permittee in Sinaboagan area. During the conduct of the investigation, it was
found out that the allegations wherein, the Suyao Dump Trucks were illegally
extracting sand and gravel minerals in Sinaboagan quarry site is not true, and
therefore it is of no basis.
RECOMMENDATION:

There being no recommendations presented during the conduct of the


investigation.
