Vietnam has always been known as a country with a lot of good cuisines or its glorious history

for keeping independence but Vietnam is also known for traditional family values . For
example , children need to learn to show respect and obedience for older people espeacially their
parents . Be grateful for what previous generations have done . And to celebrate Vietnamese
family and its core value , Vietnamese family day was born which is celebrated on 28 th of June .
Family day is not only a public holiday in Vietnam but also in many other countries such as
Angola, Israel , South Africa .It was promulgated by Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem in
2001 and has been observed every year since then . On this day, some cities in Vietnam promote
festivals and different sorts of cultural and sportive activities for all families. There are also
campaigns for gifting orphans and children in need. You can visit your grandparents , help them
do housework or meet your cousin . There are plenty of things you can do on this day to
strengthen your family bond . By celebrating family day we can preserve traditional family value
and have a happy family
