Culture is the imprint of a community of people, a people recorded and passed on to the

and social relations; in law as well as in architectural works, works of art... The beauty of
Vietnamese traditional culture dates back thousands of years. Vietnam is a country with 54
different ethnic groups, each ethnic group has its own unique and impressive culture and
identity. It holds a special position and an important role in regulating and mobilizing all
aspects of society; is a direct driving force for promoting sustainable socio-economic
development, and at the same time is an essential part of the military line of Vietnam's
national defense strategy. It is showned on many aspects:

Festivals-Festivals are an expressive way to celebrate glorious heritage, culture and
traditions. They are meant to emotions in our lives with our loved ones. They play an
important role in connecting us with our families and backgrounds. They give us a
distraction from our day to day, exhausting routine of life, and give us some inspiration to
remember the important things and moments in life.
There are many traditional values in my country, and these are observed to preserve the
local culture. During the development process, the Vietnamese family has formed many
beautiful traditional cultural features, in which the highlight is the love and sharing among
family members; affection, fidelity and harmony in husband and wife relations; benevolent
parents, filial children; exemplary grandparents; brothers and sisters love, get along, stick
together, take care of each other; community solidarity; respecting the religion, being
studious... along with customs and practices in weddings, funerals, and New Year's
anniversary... These beauties are the crystallization of family culture and national culture,
cultivated over many years. generations, many periods, creating a strong bond between
members and generations. Besides, Vietnam also have diversity in festival but one of the
most essential onces is Lunar new year ,.. More than any other occasion,it is the most
expected annual event by the Vietnamese everywhere in the world.
The Lunar New Year festival usually takes place somewhere in the last ten days of January or
the first twenty days of February and lasts from 3 to 4 days. Vietnamese people have been
celebrating this occasion for thousands of years and have made it an essential part of the
Vietnamese tradition. Lunar New Year’s Eve is not only a special holiday but also a chance
for family gatherings and intimate get-togethers.
Since it is the most important holiday of the year, people pay great attention toeverything
they do and say during this occasion. Some common plans include cleaning and decorating
the house, buying new clothes, making “Chung” cake, making offers for the ancestors,
giving out “lucky money”, visiting temples and pagodas… and so on.
The core of festivals, cultures and traditions is to pay tribute, to remember, and with the
pace of life these days, festivals are also a time to rest, return to family. Therefore, in the
face of the multi-dimensional impact of modern society, especially the impact of
international integration, it is necessary to preserve the traditional beauty of the
Vietnamese family by various methods in order to preserve and pass it on. and spread the
good traditional cultural values of the family, creating the foundation for building a modern
