The ‘Girl in the Garden’ is about the girl who is in the garden, staring at a silhouette that is
walking away.
The silhouette of the man is the person she likes. She follows him in the garden with hands in
her back. It means that she is admiring him from afar and watching him from behind with the
man having no idea about the feelings she have.
Her hands in the back indicates that she has no intentions of getting the man, instead she just
wants to admire from afar and watch him. She is contented of admiring him and is happy by just
seeing him happy.
The butterfly indicates the feeling of butterflies whenever the person she likes appears. It is the
feeling that she felt while admiring him, butterflies.
Lastly, the garden is a feeling when you like the person. The feeling of great happiness and
giddy even though by just admiring from afar, the feeling of happiness is there, the feeling of
blooming flowers.
Discuss/Explain:
The elements that I used in the art are color, texture, line, and shape.
I used the texture in the bush to emphasize the leaves that is on the bush, and also the grass.
These are the colors that I used; Blue for the sky, Green for the leaves, Purple for the dress and
the flowers, Brown for the hair and the tree, and white for the clouds. I also used the colors
yellow, and pink.
The lines and shapes what made the painting and the figures alive. These elements together
made the trees, flowers, and person.
