STEP1:
On right plane sketch 110mm centre line. On front
plane take 2 Reference planes of 25mm and then 40mm
with reference to 25mm respectively.
STEP2:
On plane 1 draw 230mm line with 45 degree angle
and on 2nd plane draw 230mm line with 135 degree angle.

STEP3:
Now click on assemble and select crank shaft. Click
on mate, select 110mm line and crank shaft and make them
concentric. To fix at its axis concentric the leftmost side of
crank shaft with right plane.

STEP4:
Now select connecting rod and mate it with the
middle rod of the crank shaft and make it fix by concentring
it with front plane.
STEP5:
Now select piston, make it concentric with V shaped
line and then mate it with rod.

CONCLUSION:
In this lab we learned about the assembly of
parts by using mate function. It is one of the important
feature which helps to create your design into reality. You
are making individual parts of machine or product.
Assembly feature helps to combine to make product
complete. As mechanical or product designer, should know
how to use SolidWorks assembly features for making
greater product designs.
