The bad practice is connected with time!


Nowadays, the internet has opened a world of
endless possibilities.
Podcasts can be extremely useful. The internet
will give you information for free but won't teach
you how to use it. You need to understand that
listening mastery requires focus.

Most podcasts are at least 20 minutes long. To


master your listening skills, there will be a series
of exercises you will need to do during your
practice which is why listening to long audio files
will not be efficient.

YOU HAVE TO DIG

Listening mastery will require two key elements:


repetition and different actions each time you
repeat the listening material. With that in mind,
think for a second...
How are you going to implement these two
elements if you choose a 30-minute audio file??

4-Minute AUDIO FILE: How many times


can you repeat this file in 20 minutes?
At least 4 – (I know you could say 5, 5x4
=20. but let’s focus on 4)

The secret to mastery is the repetition of


the file but changing the FOCUS.

You can focus on something different. By


doing that, you can actually master your
listening

long while the other is 30 minutes long.
Throughout the week, check how many times
you can work on each one (realistically
speaking) while following all the
recommendations I’m going to give you in this
workshop
