Mikor használjuk?

1. Ha a cselekmény a beszéd pillanatában történik (most)

We are learning English now.

2. Ha jövőbeli megtervezett cselekményről beszélünk. (személyes terv)

I am watching football tonight.

Ismertető kifejezések: now, right now, at the moment, Listen!, Look!, Watch out!, Be careful!, this
week, this morning, this afternoon, this month, this year, tonight, tomorrow, next year, next month…

ACTION VERBS AND STATIVE VERBS

Action verbs (cselekvő igék)

e.g.: work, eat, drink, read, sleep…

A cselekvő igéket egyszerű és folyamatos jelenben is használhatjuk.

Pl.: I usually go to school every day. – Present Simple

It’s the weekend, I’m not going to school. – Present Progressive.

Stative verbs ( állapotot, érzelmet kifejező igék)

1. Érzelmet, szükségletet kifejező igék: love, hate, like, dislike, want, need, prefer, enjoy, etc.
2. Birtokviszonyt kifejező igék: have, own, belong to, possess
3.Érzékszervvel való érzékelés: see, hear, smell, taste, etc.
4. Vélemény nyilvánítás, megértés: know, guess, suppose, believe, assume, think, understand, etc.
5. Egyéb hosszú távon igaz állapotigék: hope, decide, appear, disappear, be, cost, seem, look like, etc.

Stative verbs: Ezeket az igéket csak Present Simple igeidőben használhatjuk, Present Progressive
igeidőben nem, kivéve a zölddel kiemelt igék. (órán megbeszéljük.)

have: eat/drink/take/enjoy/hold

see = meet
taste= eat (kóstol)
