TALUMPATI IMPROMPTU MECHANICS

1. The players of the game must be a bona fide student of DCC from the College of Business
Administration Department major in Financial Management, Human Resource Management, and
Marketing Management.

2. Each organization is required to join the game. Thus, they must choose 1 students that will serve as
the representative of their respective organizations.

3. Each organization or team will be given a topic

4. The representatives will give a 3 minutes preparation after give a topic

5. Players must only wear the proper wear that she/make it comfortable.

Mechanics of Talumpati Impromptu

Mechanics:

1. The contest is open to all bonafide CBA Students of Davao Central College.

2. Every organization must have one participant only.

3. Contestants will draw a topic from an envelope and will be expected to begin speaking to that topic
within 5 minutes.

4. The speech may be in English, Filipino, or both.

5. Notes may be used.

6. The length of the presentation should be between 4 and 7 minutes.

7. Hand signals will be provided at the 5-, 3-, 2-, and 1-minute marks as well as at the 30-secondand final
10-second marks.

8. Contestants should allow for audience reaction in the timing of their speech. 1 pointwill be deducted
for every 5 seconds beyond 7 minutes.
