APOSTLES CREED
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of
heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only
Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy
Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered
under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was
buried; he descended to hell. The third day he rose
again from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is
seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the
dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic*
church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of
sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life
everlasting. Amen.
1 - THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy
kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in
heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and
forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who
trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you.
Blessed are you amongst women and blessed is the
fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the

SORROWFUL MYSTERIES:
First Sorrowful Mystery:
The Agony
L: It is in profound adoration Lord Jesus that we
contemplate the love that you had for us at your
Agony when you accepted to suffer until drops of
blood flowed from the pores of your skin upon
knowing of the cruelties that would inflicted on you
because of our sins It is then with the greatest
amount of gratitude that our hearts turn to you and
promise to give you all the love that we can muster
upon contemplating your sacred passion. Rest
assured of our repentance for the past negligence in
recalling the sacrifice and love that you have had
and that has saved us from eternal damnation!
Finally we pray for the acceptance of our own
cross and surrender ourselves completely to Jesus
Christ. Our Lord Himself said, “If you want to be
with me, then take up your cross and follow Me.
Grant us the grace, Lord, to welcome with
thanksgiving whatever cross You, in you infinite
wisdom see fit for us to carry. We put our faith,
the cross for us, sinners. Amen!

Second Sorrowful Mystery:
The Scourging At The Pillar
L: It is again with the deepest sense of adoration
that we recall the pain that was inflicted on you
accepted to endure for our salvation. How can we
ever thank you enough except by promising to
follow you and carry our own cross to merit the
grace of being with you for all eternity in return. No
more shall we refuse to accept the daily suffering
that come our way each day but in repentance for
our past misconduct we will accept all suffering and
unite them to the sufferings that you endured for us.
With that we pray for our deliverance from the
enemy, the devil. May Mama Mary be with us at
every moment to protect us from worldly
enticements and snares set by Satan and his cohorts
and direct us to the path that leads to you and Jesus.

Third Sorrowful Mystery:
The Crown of Thorns
L: Knowing how you were submitted to the ridicule
of your persecutors by laying on you a crown of
thorns we again fall in adoration for the extreme
humility that is yours and that you want us to have!
We are again ever so thankful to you Lord for
teaching us in word and deed how to accept earthly
humiliations to gain the reward of the eternal glory
of your Kingdom! We do repent for giving-in to the
desires of earthly possessions, prestige and power
instead of aiming, at, and acquiring your spirit of
poverty, chastity and obedience.
We pray for the grace of fasting. Let us fast
from too much food and offer it to You, Lord in
sacrifice. Make us aware of what our priorities in
this life should be, not the materialism that this
world falsely offer us, but the salvation of souls. Let
our fasting from food and materialism be our
offering for the atonement of our sins and in
reparation for the sins of mankind.

Fourth Sorrowful Mystery:
The Carrying of the Cross
L: Lord not only did you tell us many times that we
must carry our cross but you yourself did so, going
to Calvary. We adore you in showing us how we
too must suffer and die to our sinfulness in order to
enter into glory. Our gratitude knows no bounds for
your becoming one of us to show us how to accept
the suffering of this valley of tears and someday
acquire the glory of your Kingdom. In return for the
unaccountable favors and divine blessings that your
sacrifices have earned for us we are determined to
repent for our overlooking the infinite goodness and
compassion that you have towards us your
ungrateful children! We pray for the infirm, the
aged, the sick and the dying. Heavenly father touch
with your healing hands the infirm and those
suffering from life threatening diseases. May they
endure their difficulties and pain with patience.
Lord bless also the terminally ill and dying stay
with them until they reach their heavenly home.
HAIL HOLY QUEEN
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our
sweetness and our hope.To you do we cry,poor
banished children of Eve. To you do we send up our
sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,your eyes of
mercy toward us,and after this our exileshow unto
us the blessed fruit of thy womb,Jesus.O clement, O
loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us O Holy Mother of God. That we may
be made worthy of the Promises of Christ.
Let us Pray. O God, whose only-begotten Son, by
His life, death and resurrection, has purchased for
us the rewards of eternal life; grant, we beseech
Thee, that, meditating upon these mysteries of the
Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we
may imitate what they contain and obtain what they
promise, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen

Fifth Sorrowful Mystery:

The Crucifixion

L: Jesus when you placed your soul into the hands

of your father on Calvary you opened the door to
heaven for all mankind. What greater act of worship
could we make than that of profound adoration?
We do then make such an act of adoration before
this most august and all important event in the
universe by these our prayers. No greater act of
thanksgiving could we make than that Eucharist
precisely instituted for the purpose of its being
given to all peoples of the world for their salvation.
“Today you will be with me in paradise,” those are
the words you said to the repentant sinner hanging
on a cross next to yourself on Calvary. May we too
ask to be remembered in Paradise, Jesus, for we
wholeheartedly repent like that “good chief” and
hear you saying the same to us who beg you
forgiveness for our crucifying you by our sins!
