-Text “Dear John” with no punctuation at all.

1- Ss must punctuate the text as they it´ll make sense.


2- I pick up their texts.
3- They´re given 2 texts with exactly the same words as theirs, but differently punctuated.
4- They must work in groups of 4 & work out the meanings of the texts.

Obj: make ss aware of the importance of punctuation & how meanings can change.

GAME: 5´

-It´s good to reward ss when they have been working hard.

REVISION OF HOMEWORK: 15´

We will read the headlines of the news & I will write them on the blackboard. Ss will vote the 3 headlines they like the most
& these three pieces of news will be read aloud. Then we will analyze the structure of a new:
1. Headline
2. Lead (under the headline & smaller font)
3. Body
4. Picture optional
