Market Analysis

12
Environment. The environment around the business has a wide

variety of effects on the business. Schools and other organization

surrounding could help on the sale of the business because there will be

more people within the area. The competitive landscape could also impact a

business's operations and profitability. Companies that face intense

competition may need to lower prices or increase marketing efforts to

maintain market share. This may also lead to decrease of revenue since

there are a lot of competitors in the area.

Economic. Increasing inflation rate widely affects the business. If it

rises, every aspect of a business becomes more expensive. When prices

increase, businesses experience increased raw materials, manufacturing,

and overhead costs. Inflation reduces consumer purchasing power since it

takes more money to buy the product now than it did in the past. If people’s

incomes fail to keep up with the rise in average price levels, the inflation

rate, and consumer spending will drop, resulting in lower demand and sales

revenues for businesses.

Social. The social environment of a business can also have an impact

on the type and number of customers it attracts. These factors include

changes in consumer preferences, lifestyle trends, attitudes towards

products or services, population shifts, and cultural values. Changes in

consumer preferences towards healthier lifestyles may affect the demand for

a certain product. Our business for instance we sell sweets which contains a

lot of sugar that is not a choice for health conscious people.

Technological. Several technological factors can impact a business.

Advancements in technology can significantly improve efficiency,

productivity, and customer experience. Automation technologies like AI and

robotics can help reduce labour costs and increase accuracy. The risk of

cyber-attacks increases as businesses become more reliant on technology,

which can result in significant financial and reputational damage. The
