BORROW MATERIALS REQUEST

We hereby submit a formal request for the allocation of a specific volume of the borrowed soil
materials amounting to 7200 cubic meters, as a fundamental structural element for the proposed
dam in Kibaha-Tumbi. This request is of paramount importance due to two primary
considerations:

1. The existing volume of excavated materials at the project site proves insufficient to meet
the requisite quantities essential for the construction of the designated embankment.
2. The materials presently available on-site exhibit a relatively low plasticity index and a
notably high liquid limit. This inherent composition renders them suboptimal for the
intended purpose. It is imperative to incorporate carefully selected borrowed materials to
enhance the physical and engineering characteristics of the overall material blend,
thereby ensuring the long-term structural integrity of the dam.
