Dear CIS Community,

I am pleased to present to you the the CIS Film Festival 2023 platform, a project that has been of the utmost
importance and relevance for our students and the families involved. This event has proven to be a unique
opportunity to foster the talent and creativity of our youth, while strengthening their English language skills.

I want to highlight and acknowledge the hard work of the technology department, led by Mr. Daniel Puerta,
who accepted the challenge of working on this project transversally and managed to involve 9th grade
students. Thanks to his dedication and experience, we have obtained an exceptional final result on the CIS
Film Festival 2023 platform.

I also want to express my deep gratitude to the teachers in the English department, who have shown a
superhuman effort by immersing themselves fully in this project. They have transformed classroom themes
into scripts that bring learning to life and allow it to be contextualized in an innovative and exciting way.
They really are the best!

I want to also thank the teachers who supported the project, providing the necessary moments for the
recordings and facilitating the development of the different stages of the CIS Film Festival 2023.

I sincerely hope that everyone enjoys this display of our children's bilingual skills. I am sure they will be
impressed by the talent and dedication they have shown in each of the film productions.

This festival is the result of teamwork, the passion for education and the innovative vision of our educational
community.

Me complace presentarles la plataforma del CIS Film Festival 2023, un proyecto que ha sido de suma
importancia y relevancia para nuestros estudiantes y las familias involucradas. Este evento ha demostrado
ser una oportunidad única para fomentar el talento y la creatividad de nuestros jóvenes, al tiempo que
fortalece sus habilidades lingüísticas en el idioma inglés.

Quiero destacar y reconocer el arduo trabajo del departamento de tecnología, liderado por el Sr. Daniel
Puerta, quien aceptó el desafío de trabajar en este proyecto transversalmente y logró involucrar a los
estudiantes de 9no grado. Gracias a su dedicación y experiencia, hemos obtenido un resultado final
excepcional en la plataforma del CIS Film Festival 2023.

También quiero expresar mi profundo agradecimiento a los docentes del departamento de inglés, quienes
han demostrado un esfuerzo sobrehumano al sumergirse de lleno en este proyecto. Han transformado las
temáticas del aula en guiones que dan vida al aprendizaje y permiten contextualizarlo de una manera
innovadora y emocionante. ¡Realmente son los mejores!

Quiero aprovechar este espacio para también agradecer a los docentes que apoyaron el proyecto,
brindando los espacios necesarios para las grabaciones y facilitando la realización de las diferentes etapas
del CIS Film Festival 2023.

Espero sinceramente que todos disfruten de esta muestra de habilidades bilingües de nuestros niños.
Estoy seguro de que quedarán impresionados por el talento y la dedicación que han demostrado en cada
una de las producciones cinematográficas.
