A teenage girl named LILY is studying in her room.

She opened her phone to check the time.

Suddenly her MOTHER suddenly came in without knocking making Lily nervous in shock.

LILY'S MOTHER

Are you studying?

Her mother notice that Lily is on her phone.

LILY'S MOTHER

What are you doing? aren't you suppose to be studying!?

Lily's mother captured her phone.

LILY'S MOTHER

You know what you're grounded and you will not get your phone until your exams are finished!

LILY

But mom, I need my phone!

LILY'S MOTHER

When I was your age, I didn't have a phone, to be a successful woman. You don't need this!

Put this in your mind!

Lily

But I'm just checking the time! What's wrong with that!?
Lily is crying and begging her mom but her mom slap her.

Lily's mother

I don't need to hear any excuses again, this will be the last time you will raise your voice on me!

you better ace your exams or you know what is going to happen.

Her mother leaves the room with Lily's phone while Lily is crying. Lily tries to go back to what

she's doing but suddenly she feels tired and end up sleeping.

2. INT. CLASSROOM - AFTERNOON

All students are answering their test papers.

Lily is having a hard time answering her tests while Xia seems to enjoy the test and not having a

hard time answering it.

The teacher announced that Xia ace the exam while Lily got one Mistake. ELLA came to try to

comfort Lily

ELLA

Lily, are you okay?

LILY

Can't you see that i'm not?

ELLA

I'm sorry Lily, how can i make you smile?

LILY

Leave me alone Ella i don't need your help

ELLA
 No! I will not leave you alone, do you want me to talk to your mother and tell her about

everything?

LILY

ELLA

Your only problem is Xia! The day that Xia comes to our life everything change, it feels like she

has a curse.

Students together with their parents are sitted in the classroom waiting for the announcement.

Goodmorning my dear students, and im glad to see you here my dear parents, today is the day

and I cannot let you wait any longer. Here are the results of the top achievers this 4th quarter.

Everybody claps and they are so excited to hear who is the top students specially Lily's mother.

TEACHER
 Okay let's start, we have 5 students who got in Honors. Let's start with the average of 93.43%,

congratulations ROJI IYCHO.

Everybody claps.

ROJI

Yes! I already know it! My Mom will be proud of me!

TEACHER

And Next they both get 95% Congrats ELLA ENIAL and LEO NEDE

Everybody claps.

TEACHER

And now lets move on with the highest honor who got 97.4% congratulations Lilian Ly and Xia

Sanchez who got 98%. Let's congratulate Xia because she will be the valedictorian of our class!

Everyone claps except Lily and her mother.

LILY'S MOTHER

What?! Sir, I think you made a mistake?! Lily can't be the 2nd she should be the first!

TEACHER

I'm so sorry ma'am but i did not make any mistake. You should be proud because Lily got the

2nd.

LILY'S MOTHER

Proud?! So funny, how I can be proud when my daughter is only the second. She's always been

the first since elementary and now she's 2nd?!

TEACHER

Xia got the highest score and we can't change that, i'm so sorry ma'am.

LILY'S MOTHER

Ridiculous utterly ridiculous! And you,

She pointed at Lily with a ferocious face.

Lily's mother pinch Lily's ear and push Lily's outside the room. The teacher tried to stop them.

Lily's mother

You stupid brat, what happened to you? All I dream is you to be the valedictorian and you

disappointed me! I do not consider you as my daughter anymore, you better go home early or

you will see your things in front of my house!

Lily is crying silently. She doesn't want to talk because she is also disappointed.

TEACHER

Lily run as fast as her can.

TEACHER

Sorry about that everyone, umm Xia, prepare your speech for the graduation

XIA

XIA'S MOTHER

I'm very proud of you, even if you're not valedictorian i will be proud of you.

To our principal, teachers, parents, ladies and gentlemen, Good day. I am Lilian Ly, as an

valedictorian of the batch 2022 to 2023. First, I would like to thank our teacher Sir Justin

Ocampo for the love and care you gave us.

And to my mother, thank you for love and care even if sometimes I disappoint you. You are still

the best, being my only parent, thank you for supporting me. And for Ella my very best friend.

place, and for my sacrifice, you are the first but i still win no matter what is going to happen. just

stay there in the ground don't even show your face.

6. INT. HOUSE - AFTERNOON

Lily crying and contemplating she was blaming herself and even think about killing herself, she

was talking. It's like she's talking and begging to her mom to forgive her but the problem is her

mother is not there. Ella came to comfort her again

LILY

ELLA

Okay, but the teacher announced that we will have a practice for graduation march and

graduation song, will you go?

LILY

Lily came to the graduation march but she's late. What's even more worse is she's not even

talking she's only looking one person and thats Xia.

They mock Lily by laughing. When Xia goes to lavatory Lily followed her

was not satisfied,and found a rock and destroyed Xia's face. She laughed like a maniac. While

destroying Xia's face.

Xia was all over the news and everyone try to help to find her

Mom:

Where's my daughter! She did not come home yesterday, Xia! Xia! Xia!

Father:

It's okay hon, we will find her, just trust me okay we will find her.
 Leo:

I asked my friends and her friends but they said that she's not there.

Lily mother

What happened to my daughter! Xia please! Henry, please find our daughter!

Father :

I will. And i will not stop until i find her

Lily, you can replace Xia as valedictorian
