Introducción: good morning teacher and classmates today I am going to

talk about the traditional costumes in peru.


in peru we have different typical dances that make the country very
colorful and varieties of customs and traditions in our regions that are
coast, highlands and jungle.
now i will talk about a typical costume of a dance.

the carnival of lamas is a Peruvian jungle dance


in the costume of the girls: they wear a white
blouse, a skirt of any color, a belt of
handkerchiefs, ribbons in their hair and a red and
black necklace.
For the boys: they wear a polo shirt and over it a
black shirt, black pants, a handkerchief belt, a
red ribbon on the forehead and a red and cream
necklace.

the contradanza is a dance of the northern highlands of


peru, the boys and girls wear the same costume and use a
blouse of different colors, black pants and over a skirt of
different colors, a cream hat, black shoes, and a wooden
sword as implements.

the zamacueca is a dance from the coast of peru.


In the costumes of the girls, they wear a red and white dress
and a cream hat with a blue ribbon and white handkerchiefs.
This costume is very basic and the men wear a white shirt, a
blue waistcoat, white pants, a red belt and handkerchiefs.
