departments of Lambayeque, La Libertad and Piura.

Norteña
- The woman's clothing consists of a blouse with lace or
embroidery and a long-pleated skirt with a lot of flare, which
is placed over several petticoats. Costume color may vary.
They also carry a handkerchief in their hand and are
barefoot. They usually wear their hair tied up with flowers.

Tondero
This beautiful dance of insinuating movements is very popular in northern Peru since it comes
from Piura.
Like the sailor, the tondero represents the courtship and infatuation of a couple.
