lawang sewu as a witness to history who has gone through many things, from the triumph of
the railways, the torture of prisoners, and the five days battle of october 1945 taken from
Javanese. Lawang means door and sewu means one thousand. If its defined literally, Lawang
sewu means the Thousand Doors.
The name Lawang Sewu itself Javanese people named it as Building. The building has many
doors and there are more 400 doors. So, the Lawang Sewu. Lawang Sewu is located at the Tugu
Muda Circle which is not far from the Semarang City Hall Office and also from the center of
Semarang's souvenirs. Specifically, this tourist attraction is located in the Tugu Muda Complex,
