Furthermore, nowadays teenagers have a better life

compared to their parents’ and grandparents’ generations

because of greater educational opportunities. This is because
previous generation study opportunities are less because of
economic challenges in the cost of education, which are rising
in that generation, which can make it difficult for families to
afford higher education. Although there are public schools
available, quotas are limited due to the limited availability of
scholarships, grants, and other financial aid programmes,
especially for poor families that do not contribute to society,
so normally they may be ignored by the government, and quotas
will belong to rich families that contribute to society. In this
case, poor families find it hard to get study opportunities,
although they are enthusiastic about studying in school. So,
they were forced to go to private school, but the cost of
education in private school was high, so eventually they were
forced to give up studying. This will make their lives more and
more difficult. Contrary to now, teenagers are given a stable
study opportunity by the government. Kids reach the age of 5
or 6 and must register for primary school. Nowadays, many
governments and organisations offer scholarships, grants, and
financial aid to support students’ education, making it more
affordable and attainable, especially for poor families. To
clarify, scholarships that are provided in Malaysia, like the
Malaysian Ministry of Education Scholarship (MOE
Scholarship), are offered to outstanding students to pursue
undergraduate and postgraduate studies both locally and
internationally. To sum up, greater educational opportunities
have contributed to a good life for nowadays teenagers.
