Objectives 課程目標
To understand the basic nature of grammar in relation to language learning
To develop an understanding of grammar points like parts of speech, tenses, voices, modal
auxiliaries, gerunds, infinitives, subjunctive moods, modifiers, various types of clauses, etc.
To develop an editing eye in sentence accuracy

Requirements 課程規範
Attendance: Lateness/Early Departure, Leaves of Absence and Absences
Punctuality and full attendance are highly valued. You need to inform your instructor of each leave of
absence and provide an official proof (e.g. medical excuse note). Three instances of tardiness/early
departure and three leaves of absence are allowed. Starting from the fourth occurrence onwards, each
leave of absence (thus considered unexcused absence) will bring about a deduction of three points from
the final grade and each tardiness or early departure will lead to a 1-point deduction. Each unexcused
absence will also result in a 3-point deduction.
Cheating, collusion, plagiarism, improper use of AI-generated content or any other forms of dishonest
behaviors will lead to a “zero” for the assignment. Two instances of dishonesty will result in failure for
the course.
出席、遲到/早退、請假和缺席
請準時上課並全程參與,至多三次遲到和三次請假機會,請假需主動告知並提供正式證明(例如就醫收據或假條等)。
第四次遲到開始,每次遲到/早退扣學期總成績一分。每次缺席(請假但未提供證明亦視為缺席)以及第四次請假起,
每次扣三分。
學生如涉及作弊、抄襲、一稿兩交或 A1 生成內容不當使用等等不誠實行為, 該作業以零分計,若有兩次不誠實行
為,學期總成績將被評為「不及格」。
