SUB: - Karnataka State ISSF Events Small Bore (Rifle/Pistol) Shooting Competition &
Championship 2022

Karnataka State Rifle Association will be conducting Karnataka State ISSF Events Small
Bore (Rifle/Pistol) Shooting Competition from 9th to 17th July 2022 at SAI SHOOTING
RANGE, SPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA COMPLEX, MYSORE ROAD,
BANGALORE 560056. With a view to promote Sports Shooting in the Karnataka State, and to
have State Ranking

All the Shooters from Affiliated Academies/district associations/Clubs are invited to participate
in this competition. Those competitors who wish to participate in this competition are requested
to go through this circular carefully for their own convenience and to ensure smooth and
successful conduct of the above competitions.

CIRCULAR

A. MATCHES:-
1. All the matches will be conducted according to NRAI Match Book 2021 and prevailing ISSF
Rules.
2. Shooters who have participated in National/International Level Competitions are only allowed
to participate in these events.
3. ISSF Shooters who are participating in MQS Matches can participate in ISSF events also. It will
be a separate entry and there will be two sperate matches as well.
4. Shooters participating in Masters and senior master matches age criteria will be 45 to 60 years
and above.
5. In All Mixed matches only one entry is allowed from each academy/clubs.

B. ELIGIBILITY OF JUNIORS, YOUTH/ SUB YOUTH:-

1. The shooters must be below the age of 21/19/16 years as on 31 st December 2022 to be
eligible for participation in Junior/ Youth/Sub Youth category respectively for the
Championship.
SHOOTERS BELOW THE AGE OF 12 YEARS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN
MATCHES USING FIRE ARMS.
2. All competitors entering for junior/youth/sub-youth events must attach an attested copy of a
certificate of their age proof with their entry forms failing which their applications are liable for
rejection.
3. Sub Youth Shooters Are Allowed to Participate in Youth, Junior and Seniors Category.
Simultaneously Juniors Can Participate in Senior Category.
 4. Minimum age to compete in Air Events will be 10 years and above.

C. ENTRY FORM/ FEE:-

1. The entries will be accepted through respective Association/Academy/Clubs who paid
annual renewal fees of KSRA within the 31st of March 2022 are only allowed.
2. The entries with normal fee will be accepted till 5.00pm on 30th June 2022 for
ISSF Rifle /Pistol Events. And late entries with three times on the normal entry
fee will be accepted up to 03rd July 2022. ISSF events entries will be accepted with
paper entry form should be submitted at KSRA office along with entry fees by
online/ Card payment.
3. CLUBS/ACADEMIES/District Association should MAKE THE PAYMENT FOR THE
ENTRY FEES TO KARNATAKA STATE RIFLE ASSOCIATION THROUGH
NEFT/RTGS to ICICI BANK, A/C No. 005301050453 IFSC Code. ICIC0000053
Jayanagar, Branch, Bangalore & Credit Card or Google pay /Phone pay etc. Kindly note
that cheques & DD will not be accepted.
4. In case any shooters/affiliated units need any assistance for filing the entry, he/she must
approach KSRA immediately before 5 pm on 30th June 2022 so that their entries are
accepted with normal fee. Shooters may contact KSRA admin office on phone number
9148519777 during working hours. Shooters may also send email on email id
ksrajnr@yahoo.com and helpdesk@ksra.in Entry fee is neither refundable or adjustable or
transferable from one match to another in any case.
5. The entry forms duly completed along with entry fee payment details should be
submitted in Excel format only from all the affiliated units of KSRA (format
Attached) delivered to KSRA Admin office on or before 03rd July 2022 by email.
6. Protest fee: A deposit of Rs. 1,000/- to be made with the protest, the fee will be returned if
the protest is upheld and retained by K.S.R.A if the protest is lost
D. PARTICIPATION:-
1. Participation is open only to competitors from all valid affiliated District Association/clubs/ academy to
the Karnataka State Rifle Association, who paid annual renewal fees of KSRA within the 31 st of March
2022 are only allowed.
2. In Any Matches, if competitors are below 2 members, that event will be cancelled.

E. TEAM ENTRY
1. The competition will be conducted in individual and team events. Teams can be formed by the shooters
of the same Association/Unit only. Final entry of three members of the team must be submitted latest
by the previous day of the match.
2. Unlimited Team Entry is allowed for Association/ Academy /Club’s.

F. AMMUNITION
1) The ammunition & weapon will be issued only to the KSRA Members.
2) Affiliated Association/club members who wish to participate in .22 Open Sight events should have their
own Weapon & ammunition
G. GENERAL
1. All participants are requested to go through the above instructions carefully and ensure strict
compliance.
2. All participants are expected to obey by the rules and regulations for the competition, with strict
discipline on and off the shooting range. And if any Shooter or family members disrupting matches,
Opening/Closing ceremony or doesn’t maintain discipline, the said shooter will be debarred for 3
 years.

3. In case of non-participation by the competitors after submission of their entries will not be allowed
any refund of the Entry Fee.
4. Use of Common Weapons for competitions is limited to three shooters per weapon. Names of the
shooters likely to use common weapon should be sent along with the weapon number to the
organizing secretary with entry form.
5. The Organizers will have the right to close any match or event in case of any emergency or otherwise
without assigning any reason for such an action on their part.
6. All affiliated Associations/Clubs/Units forwarding the Entry Forms of their members are requested to
see that their Affiliation Fee is paid up to date. Their Entry Forms will be entertained only after their
arrears, if any, are cleared.

E. Individual and Team medals will be awarded as under:-

I 3 medals where there is a minimum of 4 Individual/Team Entries

II 2 medals where there is a minimum of 3Individual/Team Entries
III 1 medals where there is a minimum of 2 Individual/Team Entries
