We express our thanks to all those whose active support has helped in making all the previous
USKOI Karate championship which were held between last two decades in different corners of
the country. This Year Again, we take pleasure in announcing the “USKOI INDORE DISTRICT
KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP” to be held at KIDS COLLEGE SCHOOL vindhyanchal nagar
Indore (M.P.) on 9th & 10 September 2023 .
The championship will be organized by “UNITED SHITO-RYU KARATE DO ORGANIGATION
INDORE DISTRICT under the auspices of “UNITED SHITO-RYU KARATE DO ORGANIGATION
MADHYA PRADESH This letter officially invites your karate team for participation in the above
mentioned mega Event of the “USKOI INDORE DISTRICT KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP”
We are enclosed here with entry from and all details regarding the championship.

TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES
* Incomplete application is subject to rejection.
* Participants he / she have to show evidence / proof of his/ her date of birth.
* Parents are not allowed in the tournament arena.
* The toe nails & fingers nails must be trimmed short.
* In case of injury or any mishappening during tournament first aid only will be provide.
* The organizers will not be responsible for any injuries, damages, losses before, during and after the
Championship.

TOURNAMENT RUELS

* The rules and regulations of the championship will be as per the NEW WKF shall apply.
* The tournament officials reserve the right to combine and /pin or alter the groupings.
* Contestants must wear a white karate gi (karate dress).
*ALL Participants must bring their own aka (red) & Ao (blue) belt, gloves, shin pad, gumshilds ,
for above 14 years shin pad & gum shield is compulsory . If any participant is found without shin pads &
gum shield he/she will not be allowed to participate.
* Competitors will conduct proper respect at all the times.
* Incase of an administrative malfunction during a match in progress the coach can notify the match area
controller directly.
* The tournament officials reserve the right to suspend or terminate the match or they may call
for immediate disqualification for any misbehavior.

TOURNAMENT CRAITAREA
KUMITE : Duration of kumite for under 14 year’s boys & girls will defined as 1. 5 minutes.
Duration of kumite for senior male will defined as 3 minutes.
Duration of kumite for women’s will define as 2minutes.
KATA : All contestants must perform different kata each round.
