 RULES, REGULATION & GENERAL INFORMATION

ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT

1) Tournament is open to all players of Jalgaon District Players.
2) The Tournament will commence from 21st July, Friday to Sunday 23rd July 2023 at
J. J. K. S. Badminton Hall, Navi Peth, and Jalgaon.
3) Play is scheduled to commence at 8.00 am, subject to load shedding and other
changes with prior intimation.
4) This Tournament will be conducted as per the rules and regulations for tournaments
as laid down by BWF and BAI. The decision of the tournament committee will be final
and binding on all players.

HOW TO SEND THE ENTRIES

1) Individual entries must be sent by Google Forms
https://forms.gle/h9JzCtAZkpNDZqW3A .Only Google Forms entries would be
accepted. Entry fees will be collected at the Venue on the day of Tournament.
2) Last date of entries is 16th July, 2023 till 6.00 pm.
3) Withdraw date of entry is 17th July, 2023 till 3.00pm., after that entry will be not
cancelled and players will have to pay the entry fees, otherwise strictly action taken by
JDBA on Players.

ABOUT THE DRAWS

1) List of entries received shall be displayed on WhatsApp Group - JDBA Tournament 2023 (2)
2) Draws and fixtures using Tournaments Software and as per the revised regulations of
B.W.F will be put up on the notice board as well as displayed on WhatsApp Group -
JDBA Tournament 2023 (2) on 20th July, 2023 and at the Tournament Venue.

HOW THE TOURNAMENT IS GOING TO BE CONDUCTED

1) Line Judges may not be appointed for the matches till Quarterfinals. Players will
have to work as line judges whenever called by the Tournament Officials.
2) Each Competitor must report to the Hon. Referee on his arrival at the venue of the
tournament, Players failing to report on the court when called by the Hon. Referee, will
be liable to be scratched.
3) Clothing during play must be as per the new regulations issued by B.A.I. Advertising
on the clothing is allowed as per BWF rules.
4) Feather shuttles, approved by JDBA will be provided.
5) Next day matches fixtures will be displayed WhatsApp Group - JDBA Tournament
2023 (2).
6) In the tournament all matches will be played in Best of 3 games of 15 points each,
with extension at 20 all and only Semi-finals and Final will be played in Best of 3
games of 21 points with extension at 29 all.
