Instructions

1. This is an individual assignment, everyone will use the data shared on the file as
dataset. Make sure you are working with the right dataset, otherwise it will not be
graded.
2. The assignment will be delivered on soft copy and uploaded to UZEM platform.
This assignment will constitute of 30% of your overall grade.
3. Your assignment should be written in MSWord format and the maximum page
limit for your assignments is 10 page long and spacing between the lines should
be 1,15.
4. Once you have completed the assignment, you will upload two different files; one
is on MSWord format and other one Excel only showing your dataset and
calculations before the given deadline. Otherwise your assignments will not be
graded.
5. Explain your answers. Do not simply state them. (This is the part where most
students do not get properly, my expectation is not seeing how you reached those
numbers, instead I would like to see the explanations and interpretations of
them.)
6. This assignment has four steps. Attempt all of them. Steps are shown in the
following page.

Ethics

If portions of your assignment are copied or very close to copying, all parties will be
penalised for copying. Copying would be considered plagiarism and Altinbas University
has strict policies.

Your Data Set:

• Every students data has been defined in the second page of the dataset file you
can see them next to your name
• You should only deal with the specified number of data not the whole data set.
 PROJECT REPORT STRUCTURE AND GRADING

Requirements: Cover page: title, name student number, date. Make sure your name
and student number are clearly stated on every page of your report.

Dataset: This is a real-life dataset conducted to search employees satisfaction level and
some specific information about them (For job satisfaction variable it shows the
satisfaction with the job with a Likert scale 1 'Low' 2 'Medium' 3 'High' 4 'Very High'). In
order to revise job satisfaction strategy of the employees, company has provided you
this dataset and at this level they only asked you to evaluate general features of your
dataset.

Follow each step carefully to complete your assignment successfully!

1. Give general information about your data set.

• Use the most suitable chart/graphs to visualize your dataset and provide
a few sentence information about it (5 p.)
2. Calculation of summary statistics (descriptive statistics) according to your data set
as it has shown below (10 p.)
