Subject: Spot report in Homicide Case at Barangay Lonoy, Roxas City

Date: October 17,2023

1. Reference: Mobile phone call no. 09237829123

2. This pertains to a Homicide Incident that occurred On about 6:45 pm in the evening of October 17,
2023 at Barangay Lonoy, Roxas City, wherein the victim was identified as Ben Y Delacruz, 21 years old,
Resident of the said place.

3. In the initial investigation, white the victim and the suspect was having a drinking while watching the
basketball league on the T.V at the house of the victim at Barangay Lonoy, Roxas City. A few moments
later the victim and the suspect Aiden Chua, 23 years old, and resident of the same place, had an
argument about their respective teams performance. As the tension run high, and becomes increasingly
heated, it turns out that they had a physical confrontation.

4. At this instance, the suspect put the victim Ben Y Delacruz in a head lock position, and found the
empty bottle of the liquor on the floor as he wanted to get revenge, the suspect hit the victim right
temple of his head causing the victim unconscious and not breathing.

5. Upon discovery of the witness Teddy Sol who reported the incident to the police who conducted their
own investigation. During investigation, the suspect admitted having killed the victim.

1. Reference: Spot report dated October 17,2023

2. This pertains to the killing of Ben Y Delacruz on October 17,2023 at the Barangay Lonoy, Roxas City by
Aiden Chua
3. After the investigation, the police investigators filed a complaint of Homicide against the suspect
before the officer of City Prosecutor docketed under NPS 1-2023. The suspect is presently detained at
the Capiz Provincial Jail after the inquest proceeding.

6. The Cadaver of the victim was brought to St. Therese Funeral Service at Lanot Roxas City, Capiz for
Autopsy

7. Please be informed that the cas has been docketed under the inquest proceedings against the
arrested suspect before the Office of the City Prosecutor, Lilia Castro of Roxas City, Capiz on October 20,
2023 and declared under the NPS 1-2023 . The investigating authority hereby recommended the further
detention of the respondent after finding a probable cause on the case of Homicide.

Facts of the Case

That on or about 1845H 17 October 2023 Mr. Teddy Sol, 28, years old, Resident of Barangay Lonoy,
Roxas City reported to this station that his neighbor Ben Y Delacruz, 21 yrs old, and Resident of the
aforesaid place was allegedly killed by his friend known as Aiden Chua that transpired at about 6:45pm
in the evening of October 17, 2023 particularly at the victims house.
