JOB OVERVIEW:
Management Trainees in Sales are groomed to become future leaders and managers within the organization
through a structured training program to learn the fundamentals of sales and marketing. Primary goal is to
develop the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute to the organization's revenue growth.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

• In line with Piramal Group’s values of “Knowledge”, “Action”, “Care” and “Impact”, a Management
Trainee shall experience a stint based architecture consisting of experience in Sales, Marketing amongst
others.

• Sales Stint: Understanding the productivity parameters, pricing of brands, PAN India chemist channel
schemes, Piramal CPD’s robust Retailer-Distributor network etc. In this stint, the MT will get a hands-on
experience of the sales organization, and understand various nuances & appreciate the different
demographics within which the business operates. Typically, this stint is based across different micro
markets within the country.

• Marketing Stint: Planning and executing New Product Development, Analyzing Go to market strategy
for Piramal’s top brands, Creating marketing mix and launch strategy

• Sales Development Stint : First-hand experience to work on strategizing sales initiatives, executing &
driving the sales through this initiatives.

• Rural Stint: Rural stint in collaboration with Piramal Foundation is especially designed for Management
Trainees to extend their support to the society and make a difference during a month long rural
immersion- Also popularly known as “Experience of lifetime”

• On successful completion of the Management Trainee year, opportunities to work as Area Business
Manager open for our graduates.
