Hello,

This is a public records request under the Freedom of Information Act.

I am seeking public documents that detail the dripping problem in the village's parking garage, with
some spots now apparently blocked because of it. I received messages from a resident concerned about
this issue. In the alternative, if you or someone else could provide me an explanation for what's going
on, that would be great. In that case, I wouldn't need any records.

If you have any questions about this request, please feel free to contact me.

Thanks,

Good morning Kathleen.

I wanted to share some pictures of my car that I’ve parked in the “new” garage, adjacent to the Jr.
High.
It’s been happens for quite awhile, and I think that it was believed to have been fixed.
The top of my minivan was affected on June 21st. It had been dry for quite awhile, so I’m not sure
where the water was coming from. I was parked along the far wall, facing west.

I’ve been able to remove most stains (I’ve had many). I took a picture of the rubber seal around the
window, to show that whatever is dripping, does NOT come out of the rubber.

Hopefully whatever is going on can be resolved before the real rainy/snow season sets in.

Thank you,

Hi George - here is the last correspondence on this item that I am aware of. It does not appear that we received a response.
Do you want me to follow up with Wight?

Also, John Finnell asked about a request from the High School to plant some flowers in the planters. Based on my
understanding that the weep holes still need to be taken care of, I suggested to him that he speak to you but that it seemed
like we needed to get the matters addressed before adding more plants. I am sure you have more information and
background on this that would be helpful.

Thank you -

Hello,

I plan on calling this person back this week to determine location. Not sure where we left everything with Wight.

Thank you,
George

Hello,

Just following up on my email from a month ago, wondering if any progress has been made on fixing the leaks?

I unfortunately have parked there a few times since. I had my car washed at Fuller’s today, and stains from the parking
garage leaks are still visible in several places. As I stated before, the stains are very hard to remove.

Thanks for your time,

some places these leaks drip down onto any unfortunate car that happens to be parked below the leak. If it were just water it
wouldn’t be so bad, but the wet substance that drips down is sort of sticky, and difficult to remove from cars. I experienced
this firsthand the other day at Fuller’s Car Wash.

Thanks for the pictures. We are aware of the leaks and have it on Wight’s punch list.

Your garage has sprung a leak. Check out the photos. I parked my car underneath one of the joints and
when I came out at 10:30 my car is soaking wet from what stripping through the ceiling. I don't recall
this being a standard parking garage issue but it seems like there's several joints that are leaking or
dripping.

I just thought I'd bring it to your attention
