mortalities, community transmission of the corona virus happened rapidly in Pakistan.
This paper analyses the short- and long-term effects of COVID-19 peak on the socio-
economic and environmental aspects of Pakistan. The outbreak of pandemic COVID-19
all over the world has disturbed the political, social, economic, religious and financial
structures of the world. World’s topmost economies such as the US, China, UK,
Germany, France, Italy, Japan and many others are at the verge of collapse. Pakistan was
also faced crucial problems due to COVID-19 pandemic lockdown restrictions various
business such as travelling to contain the virus consequently, many people lost their jobs
and shutdown their companies, factories and shops, in my case study undersigned want to
discuss social and economic impacts specially in mega city Karachi.
Additionally, the COVID-19 is hurting the world economy because it is currently going
through its most challenging economic period since World War II. Since the human cost
of the corona virus pandemic is incalculable, all nations must cooperate and coordinate in
order to safeguard people and keep economic losses to a minimum.
GLOBAL IMPACTS OF COVID-19:

The Coronavirus pandemic, brought about by the novel Covid SARS-CoV-2, has had a
significant worldwide effect since it was first distinguished in late 2019. The pandemic has

challenges in access and reluctance have been available. Social connections have been

IN SINDH PROVINCE:

After the first case was confirmed in Karachi COVID-19 started to spread its wings in the
country. Thus, after its government announced lockdown in whole country business, commerce,
mosques, schools, universities and other institutes were closed and there was restriction to the
social gatherings and people were made to follow the SOP’S.
It also effected on the education of the Sindh province as due to lockdown education exam were
being cancelled and students of the
Lower classes from primary to intermediate were promoted without attempting exams. Many
Students of undergraduate students gave their exams electrically that were not effective as
compared to physical exam. COVID-19 destroyed the routines, disciplines, and development of
whole country including Karachi at the top.
