Identifying your School’s Belief Statements

For each of the following statements, write three sentences that identify your personal or school
practices.

Regarding learning, we believe…

Regarding assessment and evaluation, we believe…

(Assessment is for the purposes of finding out what students know and understand, and to let the
teacher know what instruction needs to happen next in order to continue the student learning.
Evaluation occurs at the end of instruction and is used to make a judgment or decision. For
example, end of unit tests and exams.)

➢ curriculum tailoring to suit students’ needs.

➢ feeding program to instil nutrition lacking for better performance and concentration.

➢ implement a reward and consequences guideline to students and staff.

➢ Instil and seek Christian values true the teaching of scripture in class

➢ use/create rubrics to assess why the misbehaviour occurred

➢ Administrators need to have closer coordination

➢ need proper training to handle grievances

➢ become more supportive to staff

➢ role of family is minimal. One needs better participation.
