Standard Operating Procedures for conducting Jagananna Aarogya

Suraksha Camp

 All the arrangements with respect to conduct of the JAS camp shall be done by
MPDOs / MROs in rural areas and in Municipal Commissioners in urban areas
and the necessary funds will be released to the concerned secretariats in the
rural areas and to the Municipal Commissioners in the Urban areas.
 Local Public Representatives must be informed priorly and ensure their
participation in the camp.
 ANM Household survey & volunteer Household survey Process to be completed
100% before starting the camp duly deputing more number of teams from
adjacent VHCs.
 Pilot camp to be done as a regular camp. Hence the public turnout to be planned
accordingly.
 In the Pilot village there will not be another JAS camp, hence requested to plan
the pilot in a full fledged manner.
 Nutritional stall shall be arranged by Anganwadi workers.
 Concerned Family Doctor shall upload two photographs, one of the crowd and
second of the backdrop and arrangements and submit along with the no of
persons attended for the JAS camp in the JAS Camp App.
 Proper sign boards for guiding the public to the various counters and
examination room shall be arranged.
 Individual rooms may be provided to the doctors, as far as possible.
 Private examination room with facilities must be arranged to examine the female
patients.
 CHO has to counsel the NCD patients in the waiting area by using NCD Flip chart
supplied.
 MPHA (M), ASHAs & other Secretarial staff has to be present through out the
camp and coordinate for the smooth conduct of camp and offer necessary
assistance as required.
 Ensure the school premises are properly sanitized after the camp and handed
over in proper condition. Also care has to be taken not to cause any damage to
the IFP panels in the class room.

General Arrangements for the Camp :


The following minimum requirements shall be ensured at all the camps by MPDO /
MRO in rural areas and Municipal Commissioners in Urban.

The arrangements at the Camp should be done as per the following workflow :
Help Desk :
 4 members to be present at the help desk, ANM, MLHP from nearby VHC and 2
secretarial staff of that Secretariat.
 JAS Tokens should be collected and placed in a small box at the help desk, and
care may be taken that the tokens are not strewn across the ground.
 Helpdesk team will use the concerned ANM and CHO login and fetch details
whether the citizen was surveyed or not from JAS camp App. Based on search
result, the following has to be done;
a) If the citizen is surveyed, he/she will be sent to the Case Sheet Counter.
b) If the citizen is not surveyed, they will be sent to the Spot Survey
Counter.
Case Sheet Counter:
 MPHS (M) and MPHS (F) will be there in the case sheet counter and they will
hand over case sheet and they will send the patient to doctor allotment
counter.
Doctor Allotment Counter:
 Based on medical condition and gender of the patient, MPHEO / HE / PHN
will send the patient to the concerned doctor.
b) If the citizen is not surveyed, he / she will be sent to the Spot Survey
Counter.
Spot survey Counter:
 Local ANM/CHO will be in the Spot Survey Counter and they will complete the
survey. Digital Assistant from the concerned secretariat will download the
case sheet along with folder and hand over to the citizen and send to the
Doctor allotment center and the patient will proceed to the doctor allotted by
the MPHEO / HE / PHN.

Doctors Room :
 Family Doctor will continue to use the same login. All the Other Doctors will
be allotted App Logins based on the Family Doctor HPRID (Ex. HPRID_1,
HPRID_2,HPRID_3).
 All the doctors after examining the patients shall duly enter the prescribed
drug details in the app.
 They can prescribe any of the 53 tests in the app basing on the requirement.
 If the patient requires referral to higher facility, the specialties of referral and
also the hospital details (CHC, AH, DG, GGH, Aarogya Sri Network Hospitals)
to be entered in the App.
 After prescribing the drugs, they will send the patient to the Drug Counter.

Drug Counter :
 Pharmacist will give the drugs duly placing in the bag and hand over to the
patient.
Opthalmic Examination Room :
 Ensure that PMOA has to conduct opthalmic examination in a separate room
and PMOA will examine the patient and identify spectacles requirement or
any cataract surgery requirement which has to be entered in the app.

The above mentioned are the minimum requirements. Collectors are


requested to make additional arrangements as may be required situation specific
and ensure proper conduct of the JAS camps.
