At the beginning, I am going to ask students to look at the title, read the first paragraph, look at
the picture and guess what the text is going to be about.

Contruction of new knowdege


First of all, I am going to ask students to read the text and identify the new words. Then, I am
going to read the text aloud again and I am going to explain the new vocabulury. Later, I am
going to ask students to try and traslate the text. To continue, I am going to explain what is
required in each exercise and ask students to complete them. In the first exercise students have to
match the phrases to the pictures ex: go snowboarding -- D. In exercise 1b students have to say
which of the activities in ex 1a would they like to do or don't like to do on holiday. They have to
use the given adjectives to tell why. In exercise 2a students have to look at the advert for an
adventure tour and say which countries does the tour visit and for how long. In exercise 2b
students have to say which of the activities in ex 1a can you do in each country. Next, in exercise
2c students have to read the text again and write Peru, Bolivia or Chile..

Presentation and demonstration of the achieved result


To reflect on talking about your favourite holiday activities students have to complete
exercise 6b.
