NOTICE for Semester-1 students

Dear students,

The allocation of GE/SEC/VAC options is displayed on the website as follows:

1. GE allocation - made to all the students who filled in the Google option form till the date
10/10/23.
2. SEC allocation - made to all the students who filled in the Google option form during
16/09/23 to 10/10/23.
3. VAC allocation - made to all the students who filled in the Google option form during
16/09/23 to 10/10/23.
4. SEC / Basic IT Tools allocation made to all the students who filled in the Google option form
till the date 10/10/23 is displayed separately.
5. Some last-minute option changes due to specific reasons are posted separately on the
website.
6. The students whose option papers (GE/SEC/VAC) are discontinued and had filled in both the
preferences for GE/SEC/VAC to be the same, need to give a fresh choice to the office through
a form available at the office window.

8. Regarding AEC:
The students of the following courses in Sem-1 would study Environmental Studies (EVS-1)
paper: BA Program, BA(English), BA(H) Philosophy, BA(H) Hindi, BCom(H), BSc (Chemistry),
BSc(H) Botany, BSc(H) Zoology, BSc(H) Computer Science, BSc Physical Science (Chemistry)
In Sem-3, the above students will study the 2nd paper of Environmental Studies (EVS-II).

The students of the following courses in Sem-1 would study the first paper of an Indian
Language: BA(H) Economics, BA(H) History, BA(H) Punjabi, BA(H) Urdu, BA(H) Sanskrit,
BA,(H) Political Science, BA(H) Geography, BCom Program, BSc Life Science, BSc(H) Physics,
BSc(Mathematics), BSc Physical Science (Computer Science).
In Sem-3, the above students will study the 2nd paper of the same Indian Language.

A student taking Hindi in AEC will study Hindi-A / Hindi-B / Hindi-C / Hindi-D / Hindi-E
respectively depending upon that whether he/she has studied it up to class 12th, 10th, 8th,
foreigner or not studied up to 8th. For Sanskrit in AEC, a student will study Sanskrit-A /
Sanskrit-B / Sanskrit-C respectively depending upon that whether he/she has studied it up
to class 12th, 10th, 8th. For other languages contact to the teacher(s) concerned.
NOTE. The allocation to SEC and VAC to all those students who filled in the Google option form till
15/09/23 was displayed on the college website on 19/09/23.
The students are given 2nd preference based upon several different reasons.

In case you find any discrepancy in your choice of allocation (in GE/SEC/VAC) please contact
the college office windows at the main gate.
