General Information.
Writing.
Description of the students: We are going to work with students aged between 18-20 years
old. They are at the intermediate level. They are taking this class because it is part of the
academy English’ syllabi and they are interested in learning English.
Lesson Objectives:
1. At the end of the lesson SWAT recognize each of the modal verbs used to talk
about probability.
2. Students will be able to write and place modal verbs to express probability to
express themselves in writing.
Lesson Structure:

5 minutes Warm up. We are going to

The teacher will present an image with an idiomatic Materials section
expression in order to introduce some of the unit´s on this document
vocabulary, then students are going to express what
comes to their mind once they see the picture.
At the end of the class, the teacher will ask the students a
couple of interactive questions, and each student will have
to give a short but complete answer.
Reflections
With this lesson plan, students will be able to perform better in writing as the activities
challenge their grammar.
