Lesson plan topic: Modern Manners


Mode: Virtual
Level: Intermediate
Time: 45 minutes.

Description of the students: We are going to work with students aged between 18-20 years
old. They are at the intermediate level. They are taking this class because it is part of the
academy English’ syllabi and they are interested in learning English.
Lesson Objectives:

1. At the end of the lesson SWAT recognize each of the modal verbs used to talk
about probability.
2. Students will be able to write and place modal verbs to express probability to
express themselves in writing.

Lesson Structure:

couple of interactive questions, and each student will have
to give a short but complete answer.

Correct classmate´s paragraph.

Students must edit each other’s papers; one student is


going to read his/her paper aloud and the other students
are going to comment on the positive aspects of the paper
and point out the areas where students need to improve.

The teacher will need to be in a quiet space, a computer and good Internet connection.

Reflections
With this lesson plan, students will be able to perform better in writing as the activities
challenge their grammar.
