pes, g 3 Se Republic of the Philippines Department of Education MIMAROPA Region Division of Oriental Mindoro ROXAS DISTRICT Roxas Office of the District Supervisor October 10, 2023 District Memorandum No 03, s. 2023 ‘To: District Conduct of Teacher Induction Program for Beginning Teachers School Heads of Public Elementary and High Schools Master Teachers Newly Hired Teachers All Others Concerned Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 43 s. 2017 on the Teacher Induction Program (TIP) Policy, DO No. 11, 2019 on the Implementation of the NEAP Transformation and DO No. 21, s. 2022 on the implementation of TIP, this district shall implement Induction Program for Beginning Teachers (IPBT). . This activity aims to: a. guide newly hired teachers; b. mentor-teachers; and c. provide avenue for the District Learning and Development Teams to present, share and discuss the status, necessary details identified needs, concerns and practical intervention for the new teachers. . Participants of the TIPBT are newly hired teachers and employed for less than 3 years in DepEd. Their school heads and master teachers will serve as their mentors and assigned L&D coaches per course. Course sessions will be scheduled by the coaches. Mentors will provide opportunities for the mentees to work at their own phase on the modules of the 6 courses. Orientation of School Heads, teachers, and mentees on TIPBT will be on October 23, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. in Roxas Central School, Roxas, Oriental Mindoro no service credits shalll be given to the newly hired teachers while undergoing the IPBT courses. . Available local fund can be used and expenses for IPBT implementation and must be reflected in the SOB/AIP. The checking of the module outputs shall be done in the school level by the mentors. Outputs will be validated coaches through the mentees’ portfolio. The accomplishments of the coaches and mentors of the IPBT implementation will be submitted to District for the SDO HRDS on November 2023, as this will be the bases for the releasing of the Certificates of Completion both for the mentors and mentees (from SDO and RO). 8. District graduation Ceremony will be done after all the newly hired teachers accomplished all the necessary requirements needed for the completion of the IPBT course in November 29, 2023. 9.
