ANSWER:
The line graph illustrates the expenditure of fish and different kinds namely of meat in a
European country in the period from 1979 to 2004. During the following 25 years, the
consumption of fish, lamb and beef have all decreased, whereas the consumption of
chicken increased significant. Apart from that beef was the favourite food, however, it
was replaced by chicken.

In 1979, the figure for per head in this country consumed around 200 grams beef per
week, in comparison with approximately 150 grams chicken and lamb. The amount of
fish was the favourite food almost all the time surveyed with under 100 grams per week.

The next 9 years, the figures for consumption of chicken and beef were the same grams
consumed as approximately 200 grams, besides there was a general decline in the amount
of beef and lamb people ate, compared with grams of chicken had trend to saw a
dramatic increase during the same period.

From that time to 2004, the consumption of beef dropped significantly over 100 grams,
but the figure for chicken depicted a gradual rise to reach a peak of the whole line graph,
at 250 grams each person. The average consumption of lamb declined gradually to over
50 grams per week and less fish was eaten per person in this country, with about 50
grams.
