Working at Height Procedure (Prosedur Bekerja di Ketinggian)

Purpose Tujuan
This procedure is guidance for all Memberikan petunjuk karyawan yang

Procedure
1. When employee should work at height
more that 1.8 meter and there are fall
hazard, should be obey to below
requirement:
 Should have safe and stable
supporting equipment, e.g.:
scaffolding.
 When the scaffolding is not available,
there should be some kind of barrier
or other safe equipment that used as
hold on.
 When both equipment was not
available, we should use safety body
harness and enough strength to hold
the body when suddenly falling.
2. There are fall hazard during working at
height over than 1.8 meter, so JSEA (Job

Prosedur

untuk dijadikan sebagai pegangan
harus tersedia.
 Jika kedua hal diatas tidak tersedia
maka tali pengikat yang kuat harus
digunakan dan memiliki kekuatan
untuk menahan jika sewaktu-waktu
terjatuh.

 Scaffolding
 Ladders
 Elevated work platform
4. Scaffold should be the 1 choice when

working at height.

 Steel or metal ladder could not used
when conduct working related with
electrical.
 Ladder should attach on the steady
and strong area, building structure or
object and located about 1 meter from
the top (see illustration below).
 Make sure that ladder in a safe
position or there is space when person
should restrain from under the ladder.
 When person use the ladder to
conduct an activity, it should be
temporary work and make sure that
worker could not work to sideline
more than body harness length or
move to backward more than 15
degree or step on the last 3 upper
step (see illustration below)

3. Pemilihan peralatan untuk
melakukan pekerjaan diketinggian
terdiri dari 3 jenis alat:
 Scaffolding
 Ladders
 Elevated work platform

kemampuan untuk mendirikan
scaffold diatas ketinggian 4 meter
atau lebih dari 4 meter boleh
melakukan pekerjaan di ketinggian
menggunakan scaffolding.
 Gunakan tali pengikat sebagai
tambahan keselamatan dari potensi
terjatuh diketinggian.
 Tidak boleh memindahkan mesin
scaffold jika ada orang yang
bekerja diatasnya.
5. Ladder harus digunakan jika tidak
memungkinkan menggunakan scaffold.
 Ladder harus digunakan pada posisi
yang datar dan stabil.
 Periksa jika ada kerusakan pada
ladder sebelum digunakan. Ladder
yang rusak atau tidak memiliki sala
satu anak tangga, pecah bagian sisi
pegangan tidak aman harus di
tandai dan dilakukan perbaikan.
 Ladder yang terbuat dari metal/besi
tidak boleh digunakan jika
melakukan pekerjaan eletrikal.
 Ladder harus menempel pada
bagian struktur bangunan/objek
kerja yang kuat dan sekurang-
kurangnya lebih tinggi satu meter
diatasnya.
 Harus dipastikan posisi yang aman
atau sekurang-kurangnya sesorang
harus menahan ladder pada posisi
bawahnya.
 Jika dibutuhkan seorang harus
bekerja menggunakan ladder maka
hanya berlaku sementara dan
pastikan pekerja tidak boleh

kerja tersebut, contoh: ketinggian
objek kerja 4 meters maka posisi
kaki ladder 1 meter dari objek
dinding atau struktur.
 Pastikan selalu melihat ladder pada
saat naik ataupun turun tangga.
Pastikan minimal 3 titik posisi
anggota tubuh berada pada ladder,
kaki kiri dan kanan dan satu tangan
memegang anak tangga bukan
pada sisi nya.
 Hanya boleh ada 1 pekerja yang
boleh berada pada ladder dalam
satu waktu bersamaan.
6. Pekerjaan menggunakan mesin
pengangkat hanya boleh digunakan
oleh orang yang memiliki sertifikat
kompetensi.
 Jangan berjalan dibawa mesin
pengangkut.
 Pastikan lampiran safety equipment
tersedia sebelum melakukan
pekerjaan.
 Semua mesin harus bisa terlihat
dan terlihat yang harus di
operasikan pada saat mesin pada
posisi bergerak secara horizontal
atau vertical.
 Harus tersedia pengaman terhadap
panel untuk mencegah kerusakan
yang tidak di sengaja pada
melakukan pekerjaan.
 Semua pintu di mesin harus
tertutup untuk menjaga
kemungkinan terjatuh.

pembatas untuk mencegah kejatuhan
material.
10. Isi dan mintalah izin kerja di
ketinggian sebelum melakukan
pekerjaan diketinggian.
