Please describe your related experience within this field of study. How would this program
of study. How would this program of study build on your past education, training, and/or
experience?
I was working as a nursery teacher in one of private school in Makassar. I was responsible in two

class for each terms. They were kindy class and preschool class. I was teaching in preschool

class started from 9 o’clock – 11 o’clock. Then, when my preschool students went home, I

moved to Kindy class started from 11 o’clock – 12 o’clock. I got challenge while taught the

Kindy and pre-school students. We needed a different treatment to treat them. Every class had

their own need and their own treatments.

My previous education was English education. It was totally different with my previous job in

teaching children. Indeed, my previous education helped me a lot in my previous job. Because I

taught the children in bilingual class. It helped me to teach them about the language but I got the

risk when treating them. Because I did not have any experiences to teach children. I got much

knowledge from my friends in my school. They shared a lot of knowledge to me how to treat

them in the proper way.

The experience was built my awareness of the importance of early-school age education and

development. The training would give us a good way to build the foundation for the children.

After a lot of knowledge that I had gotten in my previous job. I dedicated myself to learn and

learn the way to treat the children. I didn’t want to miss the golden moment from them to make a

good future.
