STUDY PLAN

My name Husnul Khatimah Nur, I graduated from Alauddin State Islamic University of

Makassar in English Education Department. I was not initially interested in the world of

education because I am more interested in the world of health. However, it turns out the world of

education is a gateway to all the other gates. Through education we can turn this nation into a

developed nation. Moreover, with the English language can open international gate.

I hope that LPDP can provide a golden opportunity for me to get Indonesia Education

scholarships funded by the LPDP. I plan to continue my study at Indonesia Education University.

Program magister of English education in the university has a good predicate in Indonesia

especially. I will finish my magister in the university for two years with 15 subjects and total 48

sks. The same with the other university in Indonesia, the university will start to study at the first

of September. The structure of the subjects are subject of base expertising (MKLK) with the total

10 sks, and the prime of expertise subject (MKKU) with total 30 sks and thesis with 8 sks in the

last semester.

My interest with method and evaluation in teaching English process that makes me wants

to learn about the development of English. Subject of curriculum and material development and

language testing and my experiences in teaching that give me some methods in teaching based

on their needs. Based on my experiences, I will take innovation in language, EFL methodology,

and Language Testing and Evaluation as subject selection.

By taking this magister can develop my knowledge in the future because these majors

linear with my educational background and my previous experience in which this course also

teaches several courses related to my previous majors that is English language education.

Besides that I can develop my knowledge with system and particular teaching method of

teaching English. So I can more motivate to study harder and diligently to master the lesson. In

order that I will try to make thesis with the title “Developing English Book for Marine students”

because it is related with my experiences in teaching marine students.

I will be active in teaching private students to improve my skill in teaching. Because I

think that is not only in the university we can improve our skill but also in our experience out of

university.
 If I am given a chance to continue my study in Indonesia of education University, I will

study hard and complete my study on time. I will keep an honor of Indonesia as my

responsibility to continue my study. I will give the best to my country and I will make my

parents and all people around me proud of me. I will make the education in my country better

than before because I think that if we want to develop our country is to start from the education

and the children.
