Subject : Offer of Admission

1. The Indian Institute of Art & Design’s Admission Committee is pleased to offer
you admission to the first year of the programme (Foundation in Design) leading
to an undergraduate degree in Fashion Design from Kingston University,
United Kingdom.
2. You are requested to convey your acceptance of the Offer of Admission by
signing a copy of this letter and depositing the fee of Instalment 1A as
per the Fee Schedule (attached) latest by 15th May 2023.
3. If you wish to apply for a scholarship you may write to us at apply@iiad.edu.in.
The scholarship form will be mailed to you. The completed form should be
submitted no later than 10th May 2023.
4. Refund of fees is permissible as per the guidelines attached in the Refund Policy.
5. Kindly submit the following documents (original and self- attested photocopy)
latest by 7th June 2023.
a. Class X marksheet
b. Class XII marksheet
c. Character Certificate from the school
d. Five Photographs
e. Migration Certificate
6. You are expected to follow the rules and regulations of the Institute as stated in
the Student course handbook or as may be framed by the Institute from time to
time.
7. The Admission is provisional, subject to your securing minimum 50% marks in
your high-school / class XII Board Examination.
8. Should any information pertaining to the academic record be found to be
incorrect the admission will stand cancelled without provision of Refund.
9. During the course of your programme, you would also be registered for a degree
from a UGC recognised University.
10. Students are required to have their own laptops as it is an integral requirement
for the course. Specifications will be shared on completion of admission
formalities.
11. The 2023 – 2024 Academic Session is likely to commence from the last week of
July, 2023 with the Orientation Programme.

Terms and Conditions

1. Inclusive of Kingston University Fee.
2. Inclusive of Govt. Taxes as per prevalent rates.
3. Refund of fees will be governed by IIAD Fees Refund Policy.
4. All fees are subject to change at the discretion of the Institute.
5. An addtional fee of Rs. 20,000/- per annum for the Indian University Degree is to be paid directly to the
University. This fee is applicable from 2nd year onward

Refund of Security Deposit

1. Rs 10,000/- of the Security Deposit & Alumni Fund will be refunded on completion of the programme
after adjusting any dues.
2. Rs 10,000/- of the Security Deposit & Alumni Fund will be deposited in the Alumni Fund for Alumni
Activities.
3. The Security deposit must be claimed within 2 years of completion of the course, post which the
security deposit will be forfeited.

NOTE:
Any written withdrawal application received by IIAD by 20th July, 2023 can apply for full refund only on
the following terms and conditions:
A Candidate shall be entitled to a full refund of fee (without any deductions) in the event of receiving
admission in open/general category on MERIT only (sponsored, management or NRI quota will not be
eligible) from the Institutes listed below. Proof of Admission* and Acceptance*, from the following
institutes, must be shown at the time of applying for refund.

2 NIFT (Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Gandhinagar)

* Any misleading or forged documents submitted will lead to cancellation of admission and no refund will
be applicable.

Conditions:
1. Refund application can be emailed to apply@iiad.edu.in.
2. No refund request of any amount will be entertained after 20th July 2023.
3. Refund process will take a minimum of 4 weeks after the request has been received.
